High School Program at ACA: Empowering Students for Success in College, Career, and Life
At ACA, our high school program (Grades 9-12) is designed to provide a rigorous and nurturing environment that fosters leadership, independence, and academic excellence. With a strong emphasis on a Biblical worldview, our students are prepared to thrive in both their academic pursuits and their roles as responsible, compassionate members of society.

Our Approach to Education
We understand the common concerns of parents when considering a high school for their child:
- Will my child be challenged academically?
- Can they enroll in the college of their choice?
- Does the school meet New Jersey State graduation standards?
- Are the teachers certified?
At ACA, we answer these questions with confidence. Our Biblically-centered curriculum combines rigorous academics with a supportive, family-like community. We hold our students to the highest standards of critical thinking, analysis, and independent study, ensuring they are well-prepared for college and beyond.
- Small Class Sizes: With a class ratio of 1:18 (most classes are even smaller), our teachers are able to give each student individual attention and foster a more personalized learning environment.
- State Standards: Our program meets NJ State Standards for graduation requirements, ensuring our students receive a well-rounded education that prepares them for success.
- Certified Teachers: All of our teachers are state-certified, except for a few who are actively finalizing their certifications.

Educational Philosophy and Learning Model
Our high school learning model emphasizes critical thinking, analysis, and student-driven exploration. Through independent studies and a focus on college and career exploration, students are encouraged to take ownership of their education. We offer a Biblical worldview-centered approach, ensuring that faith and learning are intertwined in all aspects of the students’ development.
- Core Subjects:
- Math, English, Science, History/Government, Bible, Spanish/ASL
- STEM Integration: Including AP Physics, AP Calculus, and opportunities with Stevens Institute of Technology for coding and robotics training.
- Enrichment Opportunities: Art, Music, Photography, Film, Leadership, and Theater through the Academy of the Arts provide a well-rounded, creative education.
