Elementary School at Ambassador Christian Academy
As the parent of an elementary-age child, you want more than a Christian school by name — you’re looking for a Bible-infused curriculum and a positive learning environment where students truly thrive — academically, spiritually, socially, and emotionally. These early years are vital for building a strong academic foundation, but you also recognize that childhood is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. When it comes to your child’s school environment, you’re seeking academic excellence blended with joyful discovery…a place where your child can develop an authentic love for learning that will last a lifetime. At Ambassador Christian Academy, we are committed to providing both — a rigorous, faith-filled education and an atmosphere that allows kids to be kids as they explore their God-given potential.

At ACA, your child will be deeply known by dedicated educators who go above and beyond to help their students flourish.
Because we are committed to maintaining optimal class sizes, teachers embrace a personalized approach, tailoring instruction to meet the needs of various learning styles. This means students ready for more challenging material are pushed to excel, while those needing extra support receive the guidance required to stay on track — all within a close-knit, unified classroom.
From kindergarten where you’ll see a mix of whole-class instruction and leveled reading groups, to fifth grade where students begin to develop individual study skills and participate in exciting group projects, our classrooms are hubs of creativity, collaboration, and care.
We recognize the natural ebb and flow of student energy and structure our school day to maximize their focus and wellbeing. Elementary students have an intentional balance of learning, movement, and rest including a one-hour mid-day break, during which the whole school is eating, playing, socializing, spending time outdoors, or visiting with teachers to receive extra support or encouragement

A Proven Approach for Academic Excellence & Whole-Child Development
At ACA, we blend the best elements of classical education with a whole-child approach that nurtures both academic excellence and character development.
At the elementary level, core skills are developed in:

Building Foundational Skills
At ACA, we take a balanced approach to ensure students develop both traditional and modern competencies. Cursive writing instruction fosters fine motor skills and cognitive development, while keyboarding and coding instruction equips them for the digital world. STEM projects are also thoughtfully integrated in the classroom to spark creativity and innovation at every age and stage. We see technology as a tool that supports learning and limit its use to opportunities where it is truly beneficial. Striking this balance allows our teachers to prioritize deep engagement as they develop capable and well-rounded students.

Learning Enrichment
Each day begins with 15 minutes of enrichment time, providing a gentle, engaging start to the school day. This intentional time immerses them in meaningful learning that will stay with them for a lifetime. Through uplifting jingles and songs, poetry memorization, and Scripture application, students absorb a wealth of knowledge — from U.S. presidents and state capitals to life-changing Bible stories. Elementary students enjoy a weekly rotation of specials including art, P.E., library, and music, including Spanish instruction through song. We also offer after-school clubs for students to explore their personal interests and make connections outside the classroom.

Parent Involvement
Parents are active partners in our school and encouraged to join the Parent-Teacher Fellowship (PTF), which fosters community through fellowship and service. Parents can assist during midday breaks, serve as Mystery Readers, or volunteer to help plan holiday parties and activities. Special events like hiking days allow families explore creation together, and annual traditions like our Thanksgiving Breakfast, Color Run, Veterans Day Program, and Christmas Concert are key opportunities for involvement and support. We also host Coffee & Conversation meetings once a month, which opens the door for parents to connect, ask questions, and engage with school leadership, as well as Parent Nights featuring guest speakers on important topics like cybersecurity.

FOURTH GRADE
I feel incredibly blessed to work in this loving, Christ-centered environment, where every day begins in the Word. The support from administrators, faculty, and staff creates a family-like atmosphere where we truly care for one another and form lifelong friendships. The faculty knows each student personally, and we also build strong relationships with many ACA families, regularly praying for them.
ACA is more than a school—it’s a community where students are loved, supported, and equipped to live out their faith in every area of life. It’s a place where families can feel confident that their children are growing academically, spiritually, and socially, all for the glory of God.
