Middle School at
Ambassador Christian Academy
Welcome to Ambassador Christian Academy’s Middle School (Grades 6-8)
At Ambassador Christian Academy, our Middle School program is designed to guide students through a crucial time of growth—academically, spiritually, and socially. Rooted in a Biblical worldview, we provide a nurturing, close-knit environment where each student is known by name and encouraged to thrive.

A Christ-Centered Approach to Learning
In our middle school, students are immersed in project-based learning, which fosters critical thinking and independent study skills. With small class sizes (1 to 18), students receive the individualized attention they need to succeed academically while being supported emotionally and spiritually through monthly advisory groups. These groups check in on students’ social, emotional, and academic needs, ensuring they feel connected and supported.
Our curriculum is both challenging and engaging, preparing students for high school and beyond. Core subjects include:
- Math (with advanced, college-preparatory tracks)
- English (integrated with history for a deeper understanding of both)
- Science (featuring lab-based learning and participation in the NJ Science Fair)
- History (with a special emphasis on geography)
- Bible (developing a strong Biblical foundation)
- Spanish or ASL (language options to broaden communication skills)
We also promote reading comprehension through novel studies, class discussions, and personal reading goals.

Academic Support and Enrichment
Our teachers are dedicated to student success, offering individualized instruction during mid-day breaks for those who need extra help. We utilize NWEA MAPS growth testing and projects to track progress, ensuring students develop the study skills and academic habits needed for high school.
In addition to the core subjects, students enjoy enrichment classes in:
- Art (twice a week)
- PE (twice a week)
- Instrumental and Vocal Music
- Participation in the Academy of the Arts theatrical production and band

Building Character and Community
At Ambassador Christian Academy, we are committed to developing Courageous Leaders, Connected Citizens, and Curious Life-Long Learners. Our students practice these traits through service opportunities, such as helping younger students during morning arrival.
Our middle school students connect with the broader school community through weekly Chapel, all-school events, and music concerts. These experiences deepen their faith and sense of belonging, creating lasting memories and friendships.

Preparing for the Future
We understand that one of the most common concerns for parents is ensuring their child will thrive socially and be prepared for high school. At Ambassador Christian Academy, we provide a nurturing environment where students grow in confidence, develop healthy friendships, and learn how to resolve conflicts using Biblical principles. Our small class sizes ensure that teachers can give each student the attention they need to succeed.
In terms of academics, students are taught to manage their time with planners, take effective notes, and use study guides. Our college preparatory math and focus on critical thinking equip students with the tools they need for future academic success.

Sports, Clubs, and Social Opportunities
Our students are encouraged to stay active and connected through a variety of sports and clubs, including:
- Cross Country
- Soccer
- Volleyball
- Basketball
- Softball
- Baseball
- Track & Field
Additionally, students can bond with their peers during events like the Winter Social and Fall Retreat, which create lasting memories and friendships.
A Safe and Supportive Environment
We take the safety and well-being of our students seriously. Our campus is equipped with key fob entry, and we have two armed security officers on campus daily. Our administration makes it a priority to be available and listen to students’ concerns, ensuring that everyone feels safe and valued.

Parent Involvement
We believe that education is a partnership between parents and the school. At Ambassador Christian Academy, we encourage parent involvement through our Parent-Teacher Fellowship (PTF), classroom volunteer opportunities, and schoolwide events such as the Thanksgiving Breakfast, Color Run, Veterans Day Program, and Christmas Concert.
Parents are also invited to join us for First Friday Coffee and Conversation, where they can ask questions and engage with our community. We also offer Parent Nights featuring guest speakers on topics like cybersecurity, ensuring parents are equipped to support their children in today’s world.

Nicole Marsango
Middle School Math & Computer Literacy Teacher
At Ambassador Christian Academy, Mrs. Marsango brings energy, depth, and joy to the classroom as she teaches 6th and 7th Grade Math, Pre-Algebra for a mix of 8th grade and early high school students, and 6th Grade Computer Literacy.
She has a deep appreciation for the middle school years, describing this age group as uniquely equipped to explore the “whys” behind the math they’ve learned. “Their beautiful brains are primed and ready to investigate and defend the ‘whys’ of mathematics,” she shares. “They’re not only eager to succeed – they truly want to understand.”
What makes teaching at ACA especially meaningful, she says, is how academic learning naturally opens the door to deeper conversations about logic, truth, and the Gospel. “It’s a joy to walk with students as they begin to see how the order and structure of math reflect God’s character – and how that connects to His gracious plan of salvation through Jesus Christ.”
But it’s not all equations and algorithms – humor plays a big role too. “[This] age group keeps me laughing!” she adds with a smile.
Above all, her greatest joy is watching students grow – not only as confident mathematicians, but as image-bearers of God. “Seeing them mature as disciplined students with Christlike, humble hearts is a sweet benefit of teaching here, and one for which I continually thank the Lord.”
