We’re excited to share that our annual School Book Fair is right around the corner! This event is always a highlight of the year—an opportunity for students to explore new stories, discover favorite authors, and build a love of reading that lasts far beyond the classroom.
Reading is one of the most powerful tools we can give our children. It strengthens vocabulary, builds confidence, and opens doors to imagination and critical thinking. Even a few minutes of reading each day can help children develop empathy and curiosity. A home filled with books—whether borrowed, gifted, or purchased—creates an environment where learning feels natural and joyful.
At the Book Fair, students will have the chance to browse a wide selection of age‑appropriate books. Teachers will also share wish lists for families who would like to support classroom libraries. Every purchase helps our school continue to provide enriching literacy experiences for all students. The book fair will be available during Grandparents Day as it has been in past years, but this year we will be adding a special Parent/Child shopping time! You can come after school on Wednesday March 11th and browse the book fair with your child if you choose!
Book Fair Schedule of Events: March 10th – March 13th
Tuesday, March 10th
10:00am – 2:00pm – Teacher and Student Preview Day
Teachers and students will preview the book fair to see what is available for purchase
Wednesday, March 11th
10:00am – 2:00pm – Students may purchase books at designated time or during mid-day break
3:15pm – 4:45pm – Parent/Child Shopping Time
(At pick up, parents may park their cars and come into the building to pick up your child and browse the book fair with them)
Thursday, March 12th
11am – 2pm – Students may purchase books at designated time or during mid-day break
Friday, March 13th
9:30am – 1:00pm – Grandparents Day! Students may browse the book fair with their grandparents
