The Parent Teacher Fellowship (PTF) is a place where our school family comes together to serve Christ, support one another, and build lasting community. We believe that when parents, teachers, and staff work together with a shared heart for our children, we create a school where every student can grow in faith, learning, and love.

Our fellowship exists to encourage our teachers, bless our students, and strengthen the connections that make our school such a special place. From organizing events and volunteering, to simply sharing time and laughter together, we strive to create opportunities for meaningful relationships and joyful service.

Whether you have a few hours to volunteer, a special talent to share, or simply a desire to connect with other families, there is a place for you. Every contribution—big or small—helps us care for our school community and glorify Christ through serving others.

We invite all parents, grandparents, and guardians, of our school to join us. Together, let’s grow in faith, build community, create wonderful memories, and have fun along the way. Everyone is welcome. We can’t wait to serve alongside you!

Kate Sarnak – PTF President

Hi! I’m Kate Sarnak, and I’m honored to serve as this year’s Parent Teacher Fellowship President. My daughter, Erin, is in third grade at ACA, and our family has been so blessed to be part of this wonderful school community. I am passionate about books, reading, creating art. I love spending time with my family and getting to know new people! Most importantly, I love the Lord and am grateful for the opportunity to serve Him by supporting our school and its families. Hebrews 10: 35-37

Laurie Danley – PTF Vice-President

Laurie Danley is a proud mom of four children, with her two middle daughters currently seniors at ACA. As an educator, Laurie has a genuine love for all things school and all things fun! She enjoys being involved in the school community and serving on the P.T.F.

I’m a wife and mom of three who is passionate about creating a Christ-centered home andsupporting my family’s health and well-being. I enjoy reading, physical fitness, and blending faith into everyday life through intentional living and movement. I’m grateful to be part of this school community and love finding ways to serve and encourage others. It’s a joy to be involved in the PTF and help bring families together! Job 33:4

Lori Zakhary – PTF Leadership Team Member

I am a mom to four children. My daughters, Ellie Joy (graduated 2025) and Soriah Grace (rising senior), have been high school students at ACA. My son Elijah is homeschooled and my older daughter, Ebony, is married to RJ. Joe and I thoroughly enjoy raising our children all year long in the Ocean Grove community. We try to be transparent with life and tackle it together. I am dedicated to passing my faith to my children and the people around me, especially the youth. I am excited to be a part of this fun team! I Thessalonians 2:7-8

Ivan Pilco – PTF Faculty Advisor

Hi! I’m Ivan Pillco and I’ve been part of the ACA Family since 2018. I have three kids – Marcelo (6th grade), Milania (4th grade) and Mia (2nd grade).  I’m a proud husband and father and love spending quality time with my family. When I’m not doing Operations and Security jobs at ACA, I enjoy doing Martial Arts, coaching soccer, and traveling. I’m looking forward to continuing to serve the Body of Christ here at ACA!
