In reality, families with a wide range of income levels qualify for variable tuition, which is a means of helping as many parents as possible afford the best education they can get for their children. We know that is everyone’s biggest priority, and the variable tuition system we use at ACA provides a clear, impartial, and transparent process for determining your eligibility.

An All-Inclusive Tuition Model

At ACA, we believe in providing a seamless and transparent tuition experience from the first day of school to the last. Your tuition covers everything your child needs for a successful academic year — without surprise fees or hidden costs.

Unlike many private schools, we include the cost of sports, fine art programs, and extracurricular activities in tuition, allowing students to explore their interests freely without financial barriers. Our goal is to offer an exceptional, all-inclusive education in a Christ-centered environment without the nickel-and-dime effect that can cause added stress for families.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does ACA determine if a family is eligible for variable tuition?

ACA partners with FACTS, a third-party financial processor of variable tuition applications for independent schools across the country. FACTS takes into account many of the factors that make up a family’s overall financial picture. Informed by the FACTS assessment, our school’s variable tuition committee evaluates each application in a fair, consistent, and confidential manner.

How much of a discount can I expect based on my income?

The variable tuition application not only factors income, but also assets, debt, expenses, and family size. The ranges above can help you understand common awards, but know that your unique situation will be assessed individually once the Variable Tuition Application is completed.

Is there a deadline for Variable Tuition applications?

Our VT deadline for 2025 is April 15. Variable Tuition Applications are handled on a first come first serve basis, so interested families should apply as soon as possible each year.

Do I have to pay tuition all at once, or do you offer payment plans?

ACA is pleased to provide a flexible 10- or 11-month payment plan administered by FACTS Tuition Management System.

Is there a cap on available funds?

Thanks to our incredible donors, ACA has a generous variable tuition budget; however, it is not unlimited. Families who need help affording tuition should apply for variable tuition immediately after completing their application for admission.

Is variable tuition available for students in all grades?

Variable tuition is available for families with students in kindergarten through grade 12. It is not available for preschool students.

Could applying for variable tuition diminish the chances of my child being accepted to ACA?

No. Admission applications and variable tuition applications are reviewed separately, and submitting an application for variable tuition has no bearing on an applicant’s admissibility.
